By specializing in the prevention, treatment and management of colorectal diseases and disorders, we are able to provide our patients with the most advanced treatment options, both non-surgical and surgical. Keeping you actively participating in your every day life, is our goal. Together, we will work with you to select the most effective and appropriate treatment option available. We will help you select the doctor of your choice at one of our many convenient locations. If that specialist is not available, we will recommend another qualified member of our group for you to consider. When you do call, please disclose the nature of your problem so we can ensure enough time for your visit. If you are an existing patient with questions or a new patient in need of assistance, call 1-877-ASK-TCRS, or the TCRS office nearest to you. We will be glad to answer questions or schedule an appointment for you. Your Office VisitWhen you come to the office, please bring your insurance card and driver’s license and be prepared to pay your co-payment. If you will be paying by credit card, our offices accept Visa and MasterCard. In addition, please bring any of the following items that are available: - Any completed forms that were downloaded from this site, or were mailed to you by our office
- Records, test results or x-rays related to your condition from your primary care or referring physician
- A list of any medications you are currently taking
- A written list of questions to help you remember any questions you need to discuss with your specialist
- If your insurance requires a referral, please contact your Primary Care Provider for the referral
Please arrive 15 minutes before your scheduled appointment so we can collect and review any paperwork you have provided. If circumstances prevent you from keeping an appointment or you anticipate being late, please notify our office and we will be happy to reschedule. InsuranceWe are happy to offer professional assistance in filing your insurance. Our specialists accept most major insurance plans including Medicare, Aetna, Blue Cross and many preferred provider insurance plans. Please verify participation in your insurance when making your initial appointment. You will be responsible for obtaining referrals from your primary care physician. For the complete list of insurance companies accepted, please review the list provided under Patient Forms and Downloads, if you don’t see your insurance listed, please call our office and ask for our billing department. You are our best source of information regarding your coverage, so please provide us with up-to-date information regarding all of your insurance policies. Prescription PolicyContact your specialist’s office directly between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. for prescription refills. Prescriptions will not be refilled after hours or on weekends. Please anticipate your needs and call early. Billing ProceduresFor all office visits, payment is required at time of service. Co-pays and or coinsurance for those patients with Medicare or one of our contracted managed care plans are also required at the time of your visit. Additional charges may be generated for procedures and tests. TCRS will bill your insurance carrier for expected payment. You will be responsible for any deductible and/or co-pay amount. If it is determined that surgery is necessary, we will coordinate payment arrangements for any procedures your insurance company determines is your responsibility. Payment plans can be arranged prior to surgery if necessary. Surgery SchedulingAll surgeries are scheduled with the TCRS staff typically after your visit with the physician. Our staff will make every effort to see that your insurance company is notified and that all pre-certification requirements have been met. Please provide the most recent insurance information, to ensure accurate authorizations are obtained. |
