Dr. Gregorcyk is one of the nation's leading colon and rectal surgeons. She is board certified in both general surgery and colon and rectal surgery and is a Fellow of the American Society of Colon and Rectal Surgeons.

She graduated from UT Southwestern Medical School and completed a surgical residency at Eastern Virginia Medical School. From there, Dr. Gregorcyk went on to complete a fellowship at the Ochsner Clinic in New Orleans before moving back to Texas to start her practice as an Associate Professor of Surgery at UT Southwestern Medical School.

As a leader in the field of colorectal surgery, Dr. Gregorcyk is a mentor to other surgeons, giving annual talks and teaching courses on colorectal disorders. She has extensive experience in complex laparoscopic colon surgery and is one of only a few surgeons who is trained to implant an artificial bowel sphincter for severe fecal incontinence.

Dr. Gregorcyk's practice spans a broad spectrum of colorectal conditions including colon cancer, hemorrhoids, fistulas, rectal cancer, inflammatory bowel disease, fecal incontinence, laparoscopic colon surgery, and screening, diagnostic and therapeutic colonoscopies.
