Dr. Odom graduated Magna Cum Laude from McMurry College and the University of Texas Medical School. He completed the residency training program in General Surgery at Bexar County Hospital and a fellowship in Colon & Rectal Surgery at Baylor University Medical Center.

He is Board Certified in General Surgery and Colon & Rectal Surgery. Dr. Odom is a member of the American Society of Colon & Rectal Surgeons, American College of Surgeons, the Texas Medical Association, the Dallas County Medical Society and many other professional organizations. He is committed to ongoing education and research.
