Randy W. Crim, M.D.

Randy Crim has been in private practice with Texas Colon & Rectal Specialists since 1990. He has also served as clinical assistant professor of surgery at University of Texas Southwestern Medical School.

Dr. Crim is a featured lecturer and conducts training seminars at annual meetings for the American College of Surgeons, and American Society of Colon & Rectal Surgeons conventions. In addition, Dr. Crim is published in the Dallas Medical Journal and medical student textbooks.

Dr. Crim specializes in minimally invasive colon surgery, colonoscopy for screening, diagnosis and therapeutic practices, and the expert treatment of colorectal cancer, hemorrhoids and inflammatory bowel disease.

Dr. Crim's favorite sport is baseball and he has an extensive collection of baseball caps, patients and friends keep his collection growing. Burnt orange is his color of choice, representing his ties to the University of Texas and a family of Longhorn alums. Dr. Crim is a resident of Dallas and married to Ellen. Together, they have four children; Emily, Patrick, Andrew, and Charlotte Rose.

He is board certified by the American Board of Colon & Rectal Surgery and the American Board of Surgery.
