F. Clark Odom, M.D.
Board Certified American Board of Colon & Rectal Surgery

"When a patient walks into my office, I want them to feel they are in good hands, and together, we will develop the most effective treatment plan for their individual needs."

Clark Odom is committed to ongoing education and research in his colorectal practice, commenting that:

"I feel a great responsibility to my patients to stay abreast of the most advanced techniques in the treatment of colorectal disorders."

Graduating Magna Cum Laude from both McMurry University and the University of Texas Medical School in San Antonio, Dr. Odom proved his commitment to education early on. He earned a Fellowship at Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas in colon and rectal surgery after his general surgery residency at Bexar County Teaching Hospital.

For the past thirty years in his practice at Presbyterian Hospital of Dallas, Dr. Odom has taught fellows through a program with the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center. Dr. Odom’s practice encompasses all colorectal health disorders including minimally invasive colon surgery, colonoscopy for screening, diagnosis and therapeutic practices, and the expert treatment of colorectal cancer, inflammatory bowel disease, diverticular disease and hemorrhoids.

Dr. Odom is a native of small town Texas, growing up in Cisco. He has four children and now lives in University Park, near Dallas. Dr. Odom is an amateur photographer and has a personal interest in genealogy that led him to discover that his ancestors first settled in Dallas County in 1848.

Dr. Odom is board certified by the American Board of Surgery and the American Board of Colon & Rectal Surgery.
