Ronney F. Stadler, M.D.
Board Certified American Board of Colon & Rectal Surgery
"These minimally invasive technologies have made it possible to treat many severe colorectal diseases without disrupting our patients’ lives and getting them back to their normal routines as quickly as possible."
Dr. Stadler has gained extensive minimally invasive surgery experience and national recognition for his skills. This experience and recognition came during his residency at the Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, in the Michael E. DeBakery department of surgery. He has shared this experience as a faculty member at the Southwestern Center for Minimally Invasive Surgery in Dallas and has applied those skills to colon and rectal surgery at Presbyterian Hospital and University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center. Dr. Stadler continues to focus on advances in minimally invasive techniques specifically for colon cancer, rectal cancer and constipation. Focusing on colon and rectal cancer, Dr. Stadler performs ultrasound in his office for rectal cancer staging, a procedure that enables him to determine the severity, size and location of the cancer. With this critical information, Dr. Stadler determines the next step in treatment for his patient; chemotherapy, surgery or transanal excision to remove the cancer instead of a radical abdominal procedure. Dr. Stadler also provides pelvic floor testing for fecal incontinence and constipation and is one of a few surgeons in Dallas performing the laparoscopic STARR (Stapled Transanal Rectal Resection) procedure. This procedure is commonly used to repair rectal damage that is causing severe rectal incontinence or constipation in women after childbirth. Along with his advanced treatment options, Dr. Stadler places much emphasis on preventative options, such as screening colonoscopy for the prevention of colorectal cancers. Dr. Stadler's practice includes all aspects of colon and rectal surgery, minimally invasive surgery, colonoscopy screenings and hemorrhoid treatments. Dr. Stadler and his wife, Dr. Montserrat Aguilar Stadler, live in Dallas with their three daughters. Dr. Stadler enjoys a day on the golf course, spending time with his family and collecting sports memorabilia, especially Houston Astros collectables. Dr. Stadler is board certified by the American Board of Surgery and the American Board of Colon & Rectal Surgery.
